I am just starting SG1 series again, and wonder if people have a preference in viewing method. DVDs v streaming. Or even if most fans even have the complete set on DVD. I have watched every episode, extra, and commentary, and have learned a lot about filmmaking as a result. I really hope that MGM get shit figured out for a new series.
I also have every Episode - I stream them from my own Plex Server personally because in the UK i need an EXTRA subscription to MGM on Amazon Prime to see Stargate. Made sense to just rip them and put them all on my home server.

One of the great things about the DVDs is the extra commentaries, interviews, and features. I was surprised when I found out how deeply invested Peter DeLoise is/was in StarGate. He would totally be as asset to whoever ends up with the project. I am on 4th season binge-watch.
Side note. You guys from the younger generation will never know what it was like to have TOS as your first sci-fi fix. Cheesy sets, fx, overacting, and all, we would never miss watching those episodes in syndication on our 14" tv with the vice-grips to turn the channel since the knob was broken. Rabbit ears! Ah, good times. Thanks again for your help today!
